Of course! We allow volunteers that are both under and over the age of 18. Either drop by the store and fill out a Volunteer Release Form or print and return the form to us.

Yes, in order to board a bird, consign a bird, check bird compatibility, or groom a bird, we require a health certificate from a veterinarian and the bird must test negative for the following diseases:

• Psittacosis

• Polyoma

• Pacheco's Disease

• Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD)

Keep in mind that it may take 3-4 weeks for these results to become available.

Yes, we do perform wing, nail, and beak trims for birds. Please call our store at 512-345-8920 and make an appointment.

All beak trims are performed by a certified veterinarian technician.
